Megalithic rock sanctuary "Kara
Kaya" - Western Rhodopes
In two centers - up to the rocky
peak in the form of a pyramid and down the river were concentrated
cult activities in the remarkable rock sanctuary "Kara Kaya,
located in the springs of the river Vishteritsa in the Western
Rhodopes. Ceramics refers broadly to the second half of I mil. Rock
clearance at the top are round and medullary form. Felling is
remarkable rock-shaped horse-shoe, and it shaped stone boat -
targeted exactly to the west. Both are clearing peculiar rock
altars. North to the natural rock pyramid architecture of bats was
now in ruins.
Shore of the river Vishteritsa is a
great rock altar, roughly shaped like fish and stone archway. Both
megalithic monuments were marked with round stone clearance
